How do we like our coffee?

How do you like your coffee? Black, with milk, with sugar, cream, cinnamon, cardamom, farine... or not at all, because coffee is yucky and hurts your insides?

I like it strong myself, with just a little splash of milk. Just to sweeten it up a bit. Swedish coffee is apparently the strongest in Europe, averagely - Emmeke, you should come taste it :)

Couldn't resist answering it myself.

Ooh, and I think cappuccino with cardamom and cinnamon is the best thing you can drink.

I prefer my "coffee" in green cans that say "Mountain Dew" on them... I don't drink coffee really, but I do indulge in the other caffeine filled treat!

coffee is such a wide category. there's the stuff passing for it that's been cooked on an element for hours at some convenience store.there's 'crystals' one adds boiling water to and endures if nothing better is possible. in both of those cases liking is highly unlikely. there's the stuff that's been exposed to destructive air in bins in overpriced cafes and when finally ground and served isn't much preferable to convenience store fare. if coffee is to be enjoyed properly it should be sweetened and at least 1/4(preferably1/3) cream- -not milk.as a vegetarian this didn't present any difficulties. as a vegan i've almost given up coffee because black w/ sugar isn't at all the same.

p.s. of course strong. it can't carry all that cream and sugar well if not. and weak black coffee is thouroughly regrettable. coffee should be strong enough that if it doesn'thave lots of cream it'll give you an ulcer. if only there were a good vegan alt to cream. (it's not really worth it to me to drink something that belongs in the mouth fo a calf who is instead being fed concentrates, kept in a crate all its short life, turned into veal.)

black and thick as mud. I found a little gas station in the mountains of Colorado in a town with a population of five. The guy who owned this only gas station had veins poking through his forhead. He told me he ran the only towing company anywhere around, and he also owned and managed the only ski are in the area. His coffee was like mud. He kept the pot behind the counter, fresh all day and close, so he could sip on it all he wanted. You had to ask him nicely for it or he'd bite your hand off and chase you out with a shotgun. That shit was thick, I tell ya, like fuckin' mud.
