SO - - how is it that Kate & Tess aged in real time - and were 6 months old at the time of their mom's departure but Rachel Greene managed to go from 10 yrs old & her first menstruation to 12 years old and receiving her dead grandma's pearls??

When did anybody say she was 12 years old? I must have missed that part. I'll have to watch my tape again. But she did seem to be acting older than she was before. Does anyone know the age of the actress who plays her?

Also in The Fastest Year, David Greene said he never saw a man die, but then during Great Expectations he told Elizabeth about how the guy asked him for a light and then fell overboard and died and how the food killed lots of men. Curious. Also, Elizabeth said that Rachel was 12 in SSS when she said she remembered what it was like to be 12. Just a few little things.

I guess David meant he'd never actually seen a man draw his last breath. Didn't he tell Mark about holding that one guy while he died and in a way he thought it was beautiful?
