One of the lads on the Strawberry Board has just come back from the Caribbean tour, and he reckons that during the time out there, The General spotted a young local wearing a Makem top, so he bought it off him and immediately set fire to it.

As I say, I don't know how true it is, but this lads reckons he's got pictures he is gonna scan and send me by E Mail....so I will let you know what they look like and how true it is.

There is also a rumour of photo's of Shay wearing a bra! - I have promised not to publish or forward them if he send them to me, so when I get them I will describe them nicely for you all.

Well that will be Rob's (indicates possession)twilight years scuppered at the Stadium of Liteweights if the photo's (ab. of photographs) do get out. It is a well known fact that Sunderland (hoc, toosh) take players on well into their forties.

As for Shay's (indicates possession) bra, who can honestly say that at one time or other they haven't had the urge to own a spangly bra, I know I have.

Ok, living with a deputy head teacher who's a pedant for this sort of thing I'm fairly confident at using 's, but obviously most of this is bound to be wrong now

...the ' is used to abbreviate or indicate posession. "Photo's" = "photo is", or "photo has". Plural of photo is photo.

Strictly speaking, it should be " 'photo" to indicate the word "photograph" has been truncated.
