Well I'm back from the little brats, and some not so little. Anyone for a little while.

So can some one please tell me: 1) How much money Robson has officially been given to spend. 2) Who we have signed or sold. (Don't be silly the board will waite untill after 1st July). 3) Who we have been linked with that looks feasable etc.

Have had a chance to check out some of the other sites around for news this afternoon. I can't believe Spurs, Leeds, Arsenal are splashing cash around and we're not. We will be left behind.

As for how I see the team and offseason. Well I don't know if Helder will be signed, if so it has to be cheaper than 3 mil. I'd be happy if we signed Guardiola (sp?) and loius Enrique for the midfield. I have no idea about the defense other that I believe that Domi and Goma should stay. Marcelino can be sold. Maric should be shot. As for a striker, can anyone mention a player better that Cort that we can afford. I desperately would like to sign some english lads, but are their any good ones available? Oh I'd do the swap of Solano for Macmanamanamanam... any day.

Hi Tre! How ya doin`? Are you enjoying working with the little people? I expect someone else could get you up to date on the transfer news better than I can. I a bit of a sceptic anyway, and tend not to believe anything until I see them out on the pitch. I would agree with you on MacManamanamanman - I think his playing really well just now, and if they would throw in Raul and their keeper I`d be a very happy person (:o)

The amount of money is anyones guess, mine being #15 mill and whatever Bobby can generate from player sales.

Most likely players coming in IMHO are Gudjohnsson from Bolton, who is better value then Cort, quite easily. If the Portugese FA sort out Miera's transfer status (Free or #2.5 mill) it is probable we will sign him. Bassedas looks a likely aquisition. After that, it all appears to be speculation with the next best bet being Calado from Benfica.

In terms of outgoings, we have received no offers for Solano and I would expect him to stay. I see Domi leaving as he will command a decent fee and we have cover in his position, although, like you, I would want him to stay. I hope Goma stays as he could still turn out to be the rock of our defence. Apart from these the rest that are listed will be shown the door, maybe not Coppinger. Maric can go and do what he wants but he is on record as saying there are clubs interested in him, so we'll keep quiet on that one!!

I imagine Bobby will want any new boys in as soon as possible to get them settled.

One transfer which is a chance would be Richard Wright from Ipswich if they don't get promotion. We give them Given and some dosh, job done. I know for a fact that Bobby and young Kieron were in Ipswich about two weeks ago as they were on the front page of the local rag, cheering Ipswich on in the play-offs, begrudgingly I hope.
