Digital Film Reader

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

Just purchased a smartmedia Lexar Digital Film Reader. I loaded awhole disk into a software program Snapshpot Express. They are saved on the d:\ drive which means I cannot access the photos now unless I have the disk in the reader. I want to erase them from the smartmedia card and store them in the sodtware.

How can I get them to be saved in the software on my hard drive?

Go to windows explore and create a sub-directory on your c drive where you want to store the pictures e.g. myphotos\myparty thenjust hilite all the photos on the d drive and right click and hold the key down and drag them t your nelwy created directory. It will ask you if you want to copy or move. Select move and this will clean off your memory card and put them on your c drive. You can now view them from your c drive with whatever software you will be using.
