Where is she now ?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread |
Haven't heard from Galaxy for a while.I'm getting a bit worried she might have fallen into her scanner and at this very moment is screaming for help from some disgusting parallel universe inhabited only by makkems(ptuh). -)

She did say that she was gonna investigate it again after she'd done more snipping of the roses.....poor roses....She's either stuck in the transporter pattern buffer or else she's formulating her tactics for tonights Corinthian's match....

Hi Pit Bill - no I`m still around - just been in a truly bad fettle all day! Doesn`t happen often! Still, the gardening benefited - whenever I am angry about something (and today there were several!) it seems to double my work rate. I did six hours of solid gardening in the pouring rain, came in filthy dirty, aching from head to foot, but feeling wonderful! Ah the benefit of fresh (if somewhat wet) air!Soak in the bath, watch the footie, (perhaps a glass of wine or two, or three), then I shall sort out the dogs - they should be dry enough to groom by then. Should be finished by about eleven!
Nice to know you missed me! (:o)

well do you?
-- Anonymous, May 24, 2000
>>>do you come here often<<<Surely you don't expect anybody to answer that one - unless you're referring to under Bournemouth pier.

Galaxy,
You're turning into our resident Charlie Dimmock, so you'll need to keep abreast of all the latest developments in the gardening world. -)Hope your scanner's seen the error of it's ways.

Pit Bill - regarding the scanner - I taped it`s lid shut! Let it try answering back now!Charlie Dimmock - no sorry - don`t have her credentials! But this does seem to be the theme of the day - have you read Gav`s posting?! (:o)

No blame intended Gav - just an observation, so you can put your pet lip away! (:o) I`ve just realised what an odd expression that is - `pet lip` - can anyone explain the origins? Is it another Geordies only one?
-- Anonymous, May 25, 2000
Galaxy,
It's an abbreviated version of 'petulent'.
-- Anonymous, May 25, 2000
But it might be 'petulAnt'.

Yes I thought about that when I was traipzing round Sainsburys - my brain is so slow these days! (:o)
