Wow, what a trip it was to watch the 2nd season ender, "John Carter MD" today... the scene with Benton and Carter in the trauma room at the end, a total flip of this year's. Benton was the one who was down and out (worrying if he had HIV) back then...

Hard to believe that Benton was coldly declining to go to Carter's graduation party (and Carter looked so hurt!) And then at the end of this season he was reaching out to Carter in that way, and under those circumstances... who'd a thunk it?

I think Carter kinda grows on you. He grew on me!! And he probably grew on Benton too. Benton was always cold and hard on Carter, but slowly he kinda got this paternal "watching over you" position in Carter's life and I liked that; it was nice to see SOMEBODY warming up to Carter. (besides a blonde chick) But like you were saying, he was really mean to Carter in that episode. But, yea, who'd thunk?

Diana, Benton has his appendectomy in "Whose Appy Now", in season 3. Carter gets to assist! What a riot!

Thanks, S. Trelles! I thought it was Season 3 but wasn't sure. That epi should be coming up on TNT within the next three to four weeks. I can't wait to see it again (I'm watching the epis now that I haven't seen since they first aired).
