Peruvian bloke?

Who's that Peruvian they mentioned on 5 Live this afternoon? Apparently we won't be signing him because he'd never be here.

While I'm on.....any ideas as to the player who'd cost a lot more than Kiko according to Alan Oliver in the Chronic.

0840 Zulu.
That just shows how futile all this speculation is. His was a name that never ever, to my knowledge, cropped up anywhere on here .

Keeps the ether humming though, I suppose.

This putting your (as in 'belongs to you') own time stamp on is a doddle, why didn't somebody think of it years ago ?

Bill what are you talking about with timestamps?

Mornin' Gav,
Just hearking back to my Brylcreme Boy days. Don't ask me why ZULU, I think it's just a poncy military way of saying BST, or summat.

Oh I thought someone had found some fancy way of adding timestamps to postings :(( rather than having to work em out and put em on...

The 'Peruvian blerk' was Roberto Palacios, who presently plays for Guadalajara in Mexico. He is apparently a creative international midfielder who was recommended to BR by our very own Nobby.
As you suggest, BR declined to progress things due to the players international commitments over the next 6 months, which meant he would miss most of the first half of the PL season - identical commitments to Solano's incidentally, a situation that has now become totally bloody ridiculous.
It's high time something positive was done about this crazy situation. Given it has now reached the point where the players are being prevented from securing lucrative transfers, you can bet something will be done to sort it. 10:00 GMT

GMT is obviously Geordie Mean Time in all instances. 23.04

Sorry Gav,

Your reputation went before you, I immediately thought you were after an animated discussion (as in slanging match) on the merits or otherwise of time stamping postings to liven up the morning . And all the time you thought somebody had cracked time stamping.

Now that you've brought it up though, I think it would be a good one to get a grip of. I'm sure there must be a way, so come on you propellor heeds, let's hear from you. -)
