I'm buying one. I'm using the obvious agencies but please keep your eyes peeled if you see anything that looks suitable. Ta.

Aye - me as well. The lure of Newcastle is getting stronger and as soon as I can get rid of my "excess baggage" I'm thinking of returning to the land of my fore-fathers.

Been thinkin' aboot gettin' a little place in Jesmond (where the Screach made his first appearance in this world) or Gosforth (aal fur coats and knee knickers - or is it nee knickers??). Thinkin' aboot swapping me canaal fer the Metro line and me hedge trimmer fer a body toner. Ah well - aah can dream.

Hi there, Clarky, I'm hoping to be relatively central, but would consider slightly more distant places. Ideally want a small house but would conisder a flat and, while I want to buy, I'd rent while I was finding the right place.

I'm always impressed by Sandyford, Jesmond is exclusive and really has something about it don't get me wrong, but your just as near and paying 1/3 to a half less. It's catching up I'm told though.

You could always live in the idyll that is Corbridge.....now that's where you want to be...

What kind of price range are you thinking of? A guy at work is selling his place in Jesmond.

Heaton is very affordable and central .. ive heard ITK has a few fingers in pies there : - ) Alternatively round by the tennis club in Jesmon is lovely , and the houes near the cricket club too . Dpend s how much youve got Douggie doesnt it really ? Try the homemaker in the online Journil , does the late night finil have a classifieds as well ? Lovely thought of selling up down here and going back home , me folks are doing it next year and moving up to Dunstonborough Amble or Beadnell ... ahhhhh : - ))
