Some of his influences to write were from a small collection of detective stories and also from his love life, but are there any other main influences that he has and could you explain in depth why that influence is probable.

I would submit that the major influences on Edgar Allan Poe to write was his confidence that he was a fine writer, his desire to prove this to the world and the public by producing fine pieces of literature, and also his desire to make money through sales of his writing.
