Kerry and Mark

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

I know a lot of people will disagree with me about this but I think that a Kerry/Mark relationship could be very interesting,I think that it would be exteremly good for the development of Kerry's character.I also think that the Elizabeth/Mark relationship is going nowhere. On an entirely seperate note I still can't tell if their saying Kerry or Carrie unless Elizabeth or Luka says it.

I'm going to comment on Kerry and Mark in a different respect. It seems to me whenever something big comes up, such as Carter this week, they really pull together. When the review for "All in the Family" came out, the reviewer (can't remember exactly who!) mentioned that ER staff acted like a family. I think they did in this episode as well, only a little differently.

Continuing...

Abby seemed very much like a little child telling her parents about what she saw. The way she sat there at the table, the way she timidly apologized to Carter later. And Mark and Kerry indeed acted like parents. They knew they had to act on what Carter did, but it hurt them and they didn't want to believe that they had to. I've mentioned before that Carter seems to me like the little boy of the ER sometimes, he's the one everyone has watched grow up, especially Mark and Kerry. I really think it seemed like a family thing this week, if even only these four characters.

As for Mark and Kerry together, I doubt it. Last week, Elizabeth was going over to Mark's. This week it was "I'll see you at home," "Ok, try not to wake you". Guess they're living together now!

Kerry and Mark, eeeeeewwwwwwwwww, please don't gross me out. Kerry is too dominate for Mark. Even though we know she has a soft side, we don't see it that often. Too ambitious. They pulled together for Carter, someone they have known for a long time, doesn't mean they should try dating. Elizabeth is a very confident women also, but she is not working with Mark the same way Kerry does, same department and such. While Elizabeth is more of an equal with Mark, I think Kerry will always feel insecure maybe because of the way she got her position as Chief of the ED. They just aren't right for each other. IMO

I take it no-one shares my views then!

Steph, I doooo, I wrote another thread about Mark and Kerry. I just think they would be intresting together. Yes Kerry has her moments of being a &*(&*, but she has never had a close relationship with anyone to bring out her softness. There was Jeanie as a friend. Romance wise there was the sleezy sinejex guy, and the hunky African guy who was only there once. I think people should give her a chance, and I will say it again i think Elizabeth still has a thing for Peter.

I for one would like to see the return of Kerry's mysterious flame African guy. He was cool.

Thankyou Cara!

I'm sorry, but Casey is right about this. Sure they pull together when the chips are down, but romance is an entirely different thing. Opposites do attract, but not in this case!

Elizabeth and Peter didn't belong together either - that's not a racial thing - they were just from two completely different worlds.

Personally, I like Elizabeth and Mark. They are great together and I hope they stay together for a while.
