ITK, I'll be around but packing. I might try and find a continuous update ala Sky Sports or opta or something, but if you could most any (if there are any) bits of really good action. Carbone getting sent off, Gregory becoming the first manager to be sacked in the middle of a game and Le bouef being sh!t, then I'd really appreciate it. But like I said I'm only going to have half an eye on the web so the main ppoints would be good.

Thanks a lot ITK

I think its live on tv just about everywhere in the world. should have been US....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've found it on the incredibly impartial Capiatl Gold. They're more biased than a bowl. Sounds poor, to say the least!

-- Anonymous, May 20, 2000

Absolutely p*ss poor.......and they said that our Final two years ago was bad but this is f***ing dire

........The little Thug has just had a goal ruled offside..... over an hour played for anything decent......it is so boring I am even doing some bliddy work.....now there's a novelty!

So it looks like David James won't be on his way to the Euro Championships.
This commentator, on capital gold, is the biggest to$$er I've ever heard. He thinks he's south American or something bloody dreaful and incredibly biased. Although he did say that Chelsea were somewhat 'fotunate' to be there!!! Grrrrrr

1-0 win to Chewsee.....Di Matteo goal.....one of the most boring and pedestrian finals the world has ever had the misfortune to witness.

Are Villa the new Arse.....boring boring very very boring, they're very boring............

BTW Kegsy.....judging by your decription, the Capital Gold commentator must have been the legendary Jonathan Pearce........was trained by Brazilian's, works for w*nkers and is listened to mainly by t*ssers. His commentary goes along the lines of....London teams can do no wrong regardless of who they are........outside London teams can do no right....regardless of who they are.....he has also been doing commentary for C5 when they do some matches and was on for a couple of the Toon matches in Europe in the season before last and it hurt him to actually give us any credit.....when they do England matches on C5, he thinks the London based players are great and the others get no better than average....and that includes Wor Al.

Jonathan Pierce heads up one of the lesser known circles of hell. If you wind up there, you spend eternity having to listen to his screaming.

dire game, made more fun by the presence of my Seattle friends. Great to be back to our old habits of making lots of sarky comments throughout. Ahhhhh. :-) One of them did make a good point about Chelsea after the final whistle. They showed alot more class in their win than Newton Heath. What's really bugging me though is taht I'm starting to find some feelings of...idunno...respect(?!)...towards Dennis Wise. EEEk! First, his coming over to applaud us at Wembley and then today bringing his baby up to collect the cup. He's still a niggly b@stid on the pitch however!

The baby 'thing' was just Chewsee taking the p*ss out of Newton Heath

-- Anonymous, May 20, 2000

You'll never win nowt with kids. Oh bugger. Seems Newton Heath and Chewsea blew that myth away. What next Mr Hansen?

Ahhh....I see said the blind man!
Seeing as there's going to be quite a baby boom in Toon this fall, perhaps this is actually YBR's secret strategy to League and Cup glory next season. ;-)

Good thinking Ciara.......

Oo..something I just remembered from halftime of today's game. Not sure if it was shown elsewhere, but here we got a Top 10 FA Cup goals reel. Coming in at #9 was one Robert Lee! Now if they would have just put that nice piece of footage on endless loop.... :-D

Highlights of the game for me? Wondering at the amazing height differences of the players, dwarfs and Zulus! (a height reference, not a racist one!) And the great knack the commentators have of mispronouncing names - Le Boef becoming Le Boff, and `Eckyhogg! (:o)

It was my turn to cook last night, and the bloke in the chip shop summed it up beautifully:

"We could have played both those sides today at the same time, even with the ref on their side and still beaten them 25-0!"

I have to agree with him.

Blimey Softie - you`re up early! (:o)

Why what time is it?? ;o)

-- Anonymous, May 21, 2000

You too Jay!? I thought I was the only one who got up early! (:O)

-- Anonymous, May 21, 2000

Not just going to have some brekkie then I am off out for more paint and the likes ;o)

You`re certaily getting stuck into the DIY! Makes me feel guilty - there`s so much I should be doing, though it`s a bit of a never ending circle! Feeling fit this morning? I wish I was! Two glasses of red wine, and a monosodium glutamate takeaway, and I feel as though I have a huge hangover! Think I`ll take it easy today! (:o)

I am having a bit of a doo next week. Nowt like the thought of people coming round to make you overhall the house!

Right I am off, I need food and coffee. Speak to you later. Have a good day.

Aha! A "do" (or was it a "doo"?) round at Jay's place. What time pet? Do we bring a bottle, a posh pudding, or just a paint brush?
