That rugby player

Did anyone recognize the big (and handsome I might add) rugby player as being the Doctor from Christy? Who also happened to be the love interest for the lead character played by none other than Kellie Martin aka Lucy Knight? Does anyone know anything else he has been in?

Yes I saw that too!! His name is something like Finnley McClearen I think. He was soooo sexy on Christy. I just kept wanting her to dump the preacher guy. I am so mean. Just call me the anti-cupid.

Yeah, I recognized him! Yet another past KM on screen love interest to show up on ER (another was Chad Lowe from Life Goes On)

Yes Cara! I wanted Christy to end up with the Scot Dr., too! He was very attractive. He had the same accent on ER, too.

I am responding to my own e-mail. I never saw the end of the TV show Christy, but I read the book, and she does marry the Scot doctor in the book, which is based on a true story.

He played Dr MacNeill on Christy. Can't think of his first name, though, and it is driving me crazy. Angus, maybe? Please help.

Per IMDb, his real name is Stewart Finlay McLennan and the character's name (I swear it says this) was Dr. Neil MacNeill.

--Suzanne-- Stewart Finlay-McLennan( aka Mr. Tanner the rugby player) is from Austraila. He has a Scottish accent in the telly show "Christy". So, therefore he actually did not have the same accent. In er you will notice that he says "mate" not lad. thankyhouvearymuch! ~Genie

The blue on the rugby player's skin from the shirt -- was this only for comic relief, or could it have hidden some bruising that, if someone had seen it, would have led to earlier diagnosis of his broken rib?

i was thinking the same thing.
