My son is doing a collection of poetry for his 10th grade english class....and being a Poe fan he chose "The Raven" as one of his favorite poems....in doing a bit or reading he found that Poe has taken his favorite them, that of the untimely death of a beautiful woman, and woven that them throughout "The Raven" making is easily understood by all...and strangely mesmerizing......hope this helps!
