Bolton out, Good John son on the way

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Bolton lost 5-3 in the play offs and 7-5 of on aggregate. Gudjohnssen said that he wouldn't leave Bolton if they were promoted. Well, they're not going to be promoted so it looks like he's on his way.
Apparently he's been spotted in the Platinum club this season, let's hope that he's spotted on the field next.

Just think by the weekend we'll have Guardiola, Enrique, Denilson, Gudjohnsen. MM not a bad start I suppose! Just to wipe the smile of everyones faces, we've also been linked with a 5 million pound move for

Matt Elliot
Don't worry I'm going.

Gudjohnsen didn't get a game last night! Is he suspended/injured??? If he's injured I'm sure we'll sign him immediately :-((

Sounded like a cracking game. How's this for a statistic:
Bolton picked up 10 bookings and 2 sendings off
Ipswich picked up none!!

Right so now if Barnsely (who should get through against the brummies) beat Ipswich we can give them Given in exchange for Richard Wright along with a few million. Great keeper for the next ten years who will link up with young Kevin Dyer and Old man Ipswich Bobby. Easy!

Where is the Matt Elloit link coming from? Leicester don't need to sell due to the Heskey sale, interesting though.

Aye, Allardyce (sp?) isn't best pleased with the apparent biased refereeing. Wonder where YKD was last night?

Personally, I think it's a shame that a quality stadium like the Reebok in Bolton isn't being used to house Premiership games, while cow sheds like Vicarage Road take the p**s. Portman Road looks a right dump too. Another trip to Barnsley anyone? Then again...
