Success!! Your posting is now in the database. If you are tired of typing your name and email address over and over, you can click here to set a persistent cookie in your browser.

One of the big points of this software is to support collaboration using the best mix of Web and email. Now that we've done the Web part, we will notify the people who have requested an email alert. You may move to a different url if you don't want to wait for this process to complete.

Generating alerts...

the forum maintainer (freespeech_y2k@yahoo.com) must be busy because he/she has disabled email notification of new postings

sent a note to sacredspaces@yahoo.com We're all done with the email notifications now. If any of these folks typed in a bogus/misspelled/obsolete email address, you may get a bounced message in your inbox.

"they" should leave her alone

Swampthang,

I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt, an resist the urge to think you might be stirring the pot {thanks to eve's postitve thinking post}.

Clearly the pranksterism is wrong, and it could be coming from any direction. I'm not a tech person, but I have a question. Since Diane has moved on & wouldn't be interested in notifications from this forum, isn't there a way for her to block the crap bounced from here before it stuffs her mail system?

Swampthing,

You ought to check out Diane's forum. Seems like there has been some spamming going on there as well.

Oh well... .. .

I see that LadyLogic was back here again this morning after her recent absences. It certainly looks like her handiwork. Can anyone think of other possible villans? LL is the one that automatically comes to mind when I think of spamming. Does anyone else hate DS as much as she does?

Whos on line right now?

-- guess (Nowonder@wakeup.com), May 17, 2000.

Flora you are barking up the wrong tree thinking I'm trying to bid ill will toward Diane. I made a post on a thread and noticed the e- mail notifacation was being sent to her. Yesterday there was a discussion about this on a thread started by consumer. My point with this thread is some didn't see it yesterday and when I noticed it I copied it and posted it here. I've said it before and I'll say it again I think its extremely childish how "they" have treated Diane.

You all had better watch your backs in Vegas.

-- andyourlittledogtoo (Illgetyou@mypretty.com), May 17, 2000.

And now we are getting threats for if/when we meet in Vegas?

This is insane.

I just posted a message and then saw this...

We're all done with the email notifications now. If any of these folks typed in a bogus/misspelled/obsolete email address, you may get a bounced message in your inbox.

ho hum.

-- (hmm@hmm.hmm), May 17, 2000.

Are you the one redirecting these messages to Diane's forum, hmm@hmm.hmm?

-- passing (the@info.along), May 17, 2000.

No.

-- (hmm@hmm.hmm), May 17, 2000.

testing, I am curious too

-- maya (maya@eck.ist), May 17, 2000.

FWIW, it just happened again when I posted a response to Uncle Deedah's "pictures" thread.

Whoever is doing this is clinically insane; acting no better than a four-year-old. At least a four-year-old has an excuse; THEY ARE FOUR YEARS OLD. You, OTOH, are supposed to be an adult.

Try acting like one.

testing again

-- (hmm@hmm.hmm), May 17, 2000.

I know that Di has pissed off a few people, but the spam is wrong. Please stop it, for the children's sake.

Really enough already.

-- Uncle Deedah (unkeed@yahoo.com), May 17, 2000.

Squire should have thought of that before she acted like queen of the internet, deciding who can or can't post and WHO,S opinion is valid or not

-- Ghost of TB Past (squire@made.enemies), May 17, 2000.

Go fuck yourself A-LD

-- Diane J. Squire (sacredsp@gte.net), May 17, 2000.

I think I turned it off on this thread and on the Ken Decker "Sex and the Summer Lull" thread. At least I hope I did. OTFR, if you're reading this and there's a problem, my email addy is real. I hope I helped.

-- Patricia (PatriciaS@lasvegas.com), May 17, 2000.

Don't click here

Don't type " sacredspacesfs@earthlink.net " into the "edit" space and Don't hit "return"

Don't enable instant alerts

Don't do this for " sacredspaces@yahoo " either.

-- Netghost (ng@no.yr), May 19, 2000.

Don't do this several times a day, either.

-- Netghost (ng@no.yr), May 19, 2000.

And don't turn them back off as soon as you notice they're on. LOL.
