Actually, from memory (depleted after many a drink with LR discussing this very issue) I seem to remember the bet with DD (actually DD's mate) was #100 to be handed from LR to said mate if 'pool qualified for the CL. He was looking a bit sick on this last time we spoke but some top class non-finishing by F***er, YMO, Titty and Peskey have saved his money - well for this season at least. I seem to recall there was a 3 (or was it 5??) year period when 'pool wouldn't qualify for the CL. Hmm - I'd get saving now LR if I were you!

As for the WGB/Yorkie thing - he already acknowledged thathe'd lost that one. But I'll be b*gg*rd (only a phrase, not an offer) if I can remeber the details. Something like bearing his @rse in the Strawbeery - or did he do that last time when we stuffe 'em 3-0??

Pint-a-goal wasn't it?

Look...if ya can't remember then I ain't gonna tell ya :-)

The details of said wager were this: The Porn Star would score 1/2 as many goals again as WGB's total...in all competitions. Yorke did well to make a spirited come-back cos this wager was dead and buried months ago...when all of NUFC's opponenets let WGB score as and when required.

The #100 with the mickies....which I intended to honour all along despite their lies is over a 3 season period. One down two to go but I'm still confident they won't do it in the next two anyway. Yewnited will almost certainly still be in the top 3, as will Arsenal..and I fully expect Leeds to get better...after all, they were only wee boys (sic)....ain't that right Oh-Leery?. I think Chelsea will dump many of their "going-through-the-motions" players and recruit from these Isles. As Hansen said on Sunday...."Liverpool aren't as good as we thought they were". The ONLY way I can see the scousers getting a top 3 place is for early UEFA, FA and League Cup exits.....maybe!!

Makes it up as he goes along.......

Was the bet 'in all (including international)competitions' or just league. Not that it makes much difference cos everybody was letting Shearer score despite the slow start of the season.
