Why am I not bothered about this Saturdays Cup Final ? Every time an ad comes on I switch channels.

I'm still gutted over the semi result.

I've never not looked forward to an FA Cup Final before. This past week or so I've had quite a few workmates assume that their resident pom would be watching at the weekend. Cue looks of complete bewilderment on their faces when I explain (in a calm voice!) that my team was mugged in the semi and that I'm not in the slightest bit interested.

I think it's more the sickener of seeing all those 'diehard' Villa fans who stayed away in droves all season turning up at Wembley to celebrate a successful season. Bloody part-timers!

Exactly. They are moaning about not having enough tickets for Wembley. The only time they've filled Villa Park was to play Man United on Sunday and you can bet that about 10000 of the 39000 were Mancs in the wrong end.

As for the Cup.....I don't give a shit...personally I'd like to see both teams lose...Hmm I suppose the best I can hope for is a really violent game with loads of red cards (to carry over to next season) and maybe a couple of fatal injuries.....

The idea of watching it really hadn't bothered me all that much until this week. Precisely because the feelings that 'it should have been us' are starting to hit hard. But watch I will, and unable to even get drunk because I've got to drive. bah! Still can't decide which side I'd rather see lift the cup. On the one hand it would be nice to see Watto lift it..but that mean the 2nd rate gangster(Gregory) will also lift it. ugh! On the other hand, if Chelsea lose to a piss-poor Villa, my feelings of us being cheated will go off the charts. I'd like to see LaPoof get kicked up and down again...but just don't think anyone at Villa can do nearly as good a job as wor Al! The memory of Al's look of satisfaction after one hard tackle is right up there with Lee's goal as moment's I'll never forget. :-)

1. Don't ever want Villa to win anything 2. Chelsea at least play good football 3. L'il 'Ernie' Wise breaking his leg...in several places...would be nice to see 4. ...as would Poyet doing similar (should have been sent off etc) 5. (for Lahndahn Village residents) Count how many new Chewsee shirts will make an appearance on Saturday...and for the week after if they win (which they probably will) 6. I go with Gav's wish. Let's hope this is the dullest, dirtiest and most damn well disappointing FAC final EVER! At least then we will be able to dream of how good our 3rd final would have been.
