Panasonic Encoder license Number, How do I find it?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I purchased the Panasonic Encoder a while back, and did not save the message from Panasonic that gave me the number to register the software when loading it. When I initially loaded the software, it loaded fine because I had the software registration number from the email. But now with months gone, I deleted the email that had the registration number. Is there anyway to recover the registration number from my computer? If I remember correctly, that number should be accessable in the registered version on my computer. I am having wierd problems with the software, and would like to reload it. I do not want to attempt this without first having that registration number. Can anyone help me? There has got to be a way of getting that number!?!?!?!

Thanks in advance.

Open the program. Then click on the About button. This will give you your license information and serial number.

the program DOES NOT have an "about" button.

At the college we are using the Panasonic MPEG 1 Encoder ver 2.30 The very first screen that comes after starting the program has the About button on the right under the help button. We just purchased this a month ago. You must be using an earlier version. Sorry I could not be any more help.

Don't forget that you also need the password. Just having the serial will not help you re-install the program.
