I want to buy one of the cameras, but I wanted to know which one had the best features for the money.

I, too, have narrowed my search of dozens of cameras down to these two and am very interested in seeing some thorough reviews of the Toshiba M70. I'm leaning towards the Toshiba, but Sony has an excellent, if not better, track record. I know where to get Sony products serviced, but have no idea how easy or hard it will be to get Toshiba products serviced. I am a little reluctant to get a product with the memory stick as I don't know if the future is secure for that format (ala Beta format and other Sony "widow" products). I regret to say that I'll have to wait until the reviews are out to make a better judgment -- but then again when they are, I fear I may will be further confused. That's become the nature of advice on these things.

Whatever camera you decide, don't let memory stick stop you from getting Sony, it works fine and is reasonably priced. They will keep pace with competing memory standards.
