Censorship on a Y2K Board - how original...greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread |
I accept the admission of failure to win the debate about Y2k, as demonstrated in the bias with which the board is operated. If the truth be known, it's a rather high compliment to have someone abuse their authority to attempt to compete in an intellectual pursuit - one which, though undeserved, is appreciated nonetheless!
Vindicated Regards,
Andy Ray

Sic 'em, tiger!BTW, Andy Ray, do you have an advanced degree in education or psychology? I only ask because you write as if every last scrap of the common speech or American idiom has been pummeled out of your prose style. Holders of MS degrees in Education are notorious for this. They scarcely write recognizable English at all. Since you are almost readable, but definitely warped, my guess is an MS in Psychology, rather than Education. Either coming up soon or awarded not long ago.
Am I right? (nudge - nudge) Am I?

Didn't you say you were leaving Brian? Andy Ray doesn't need an ass-kisser, he does a good job by himself.

Yeah, Brian. Quite stinking up this forum.

To the previous two twits... suck wind! Brian, your views are always welcome no matter if I agree with them at the time or not....enjoy your summer!

Brian, Andy Ray definitely shows signs of schitzoaffective disorder. One of the cardinal signs of schitzophrenic disorders is disturbance of language and communication. Often referred to as "formal thought disorder". Basically, there is a failure to conform to the semantic and syntactic rules governing verbal communication in the individual's known language ( not attributable to low intelligence, poor education, or cultural deprivation.) The phenomenon is readily recognized by experienced psychologists: the person seems to be using words in combinations that sound communicative, but in the final analysis the listener becomes aware of understanding little or nothing of what has been said.
Add to it his narcissistic, grandiose and compulsive behavior, and the picture becomes clearer.

Is this another Andy Ray imposter? The deleted threads forum isn't in active status. What censorship took place?
-- Anita (Anita_S3@hotmail.com), May 16, 2000.
Anita, Andy Ray enjoys the responses to his posts more than anything else. There's no attempt to discuss. Just to badger old foils and whimper about old slights as he sees them. The man used to poke for usefull responses with his "If a...,Is a..., Would a..." routine. No more. A tired soldier all out of wars. Kinda sad aint it?
