Continuing search for SAL/SCL photo in Thalmann, Ga

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ACL and SAL Railroads Historical Society : One Thread

After five weeks of searching, and speaking to photographers and historians with large archival collections, I have been unable to find a good, scenic shot of SAL or SCL operations in Thalmann ("Brunswick Junction"), Georgia. Once a SAL/SCL junction, Thalmann is today bereft of tracks. Does anybody have anything to offer?

This photo would be used in a forthcoming book.

Joe, I took some shots of the ex-SAL depot at Thalmann in the late '70's or early '80's. The rails were still in place, although Amtrak had already vacated the route in favor of ACL through Jesup. The structure is mostly canopy, with a small waiting room at the north end. I'll be glad to supply some photos. Let me know if you're interested.
