Between compact flash and memory stick . Which one is faster to store picture.

Compact Flash has the potential of a higher transfer rate. But it is also dependent on the camera, how fast it can write to the card. Lexar has 8x and 10x CF cards but most cameras can't take full advantage of the extra speed.

Lexar is coming out with faster mem sticks, just like they have for CF, so this issue is a wash. I wouldn't let the memory format influence your decision, unless you need the biggest storage that CF offers.
