Moving from the West part of Tokyo to Kawasaki, which is about 10 minutes from where I lkive now but a bit further North. I'm actually going to be as close to the centre of Tokyo as I am now, but I'll be in a different city!

>>>>>Moving from the West part of Tokyo to Kawasaki<<<<<<

Used to have one of their motorbikes in my formative years......totalled it on my mates farm!

They don't like jumping off 20 foot sheer drops and landing flat......it snaps the frame in the middle and the engine drops off.

Errr ITK. My lad used to have a Kawasaki and regularly used to jump it off huge drop-offs with no major problems to the bike, which is more than can be said for his bones ;-))

Are you sure it's not something to do with the combined weight of bike and rider???

Morni' all!

Thanks ITK, I'll try and remember that next week! But I don't think I'll get much stuff on one either:)

Oi Screacher.....cheeky tw@t.....I wasn't always this big!

No, I think it was a combination of continual jumping and next to no servicing/maintenance........my mates dad had a farm and he 'gave' him a field and built it into an 'assault course' and we used to race the Kawasaki and a souped up mini round the field almost on a daily basis, but we couldn't be arsed to check the bike too much afterwards.....most of the work was done on the mini......went over the 20 foot bank and the bike came down flat, instead of back wheel down front.......wheel down and away. This was the last of several such bad landings and the bike just crumpled up......it wasn't half funny......we did laugh!

Hi gang! I'm back after a dodgy-PC induced absence of three days. Bet you've enjoyed the peace without me blethering on, and on, and ......
It's amazing how much you come to rely on the internet, and how disorientating it is when you can't get connected. I suspect there's an embryonic physcological condition lurking in there somewhere.
I was even on the verge of visiting our only Internet Cafe for an hour or so!
Well I'm back and beginning to look forward to the final match tomorrow - need to catch up and what's what with the team and probable selection.
Is the meet in the Strawberry tomorrow? I won't make the pre-match sup - family barbecue and all that (bound to bloody rain!) - but will deffo make the post-match event.

Welcome back Clarky.....it has been almost as quiet as Fueteventura on here while you have been away!

Only joking - or am I - I don't know anymore - help - the drugs ain't working! :0)

Morning from a murky, cool Boston. Haven't yet decided whether I'll stay home and listen to the webcast tomorrow or go down to the pub to watch Bradford whup Liverpool(please!!). I want to see the game, but will be rather unhappy if I drag myself out of here that early in the morning and Bradford lose. Maybe I'll stay and listen to our game, and just make do with the highlights show tomorrow afternoon. :-)

Ciara,

Life's full of decisions isn't it?
Fortunately, the only decision I've got to make tomorrow is how many drinks to have in the Strawberry after the game/season to celebrate:
i) avoiding the chasm of the Nationwide
ii) AS's 300th league goal
iii) topping 50 points
iv) whupping the Arse, and last but not least
v) Bobby Robson's genius.

Roll on next season. Enjoy your Sunday Ciara, whatever you decide - we'll be thinking about you.
