miscellaneous stuff

i started a new thread because...well, i can, that's why.

did anyone else see The List tonight? Nine Days played live, and i have to say they were really, really good. i wish i could have enjoyed them more in Long Island. i think i would have, if it wasn't so heinously loud. anyway...i now have Story of a Girl stuck in my head. that's not necessarily a bad thing!

Jill, i'm not sure if you caught the part of my email about Listbot sucking with wind tunnel-like velocity, but it has been lately. i send email to my list and the turnaround time has been like a minimum of 24 hours. i hope they get their shit together soon, because i'm really not fond of the thought of setting up another list with different service. so again, my apologies.

happy weekend, everyone. be safe and sleep sweet.

ex oh....aimee.*

i saw the list! i didn't remember them being that good in long island. (i think it was the loud thing) but i was impressed tonight. i may even have to give them another chance. i think i got email from them recently, i'll have to see if they're playing any dates around here.

oh and good luck tomorrow AJ! (only i guess it's today at this point)

hey! i saw the list tonight too, what a coincidence :-) that wrongway inn place was probably the worst place ever to see a band, i'd definately give them another chance, they sounded great tonight. and that lead singer, i can't believe we missed HIM in long island. even though he's probably young enough to make it to the cover of tiger beat for real. heh

does anyone have an mp3 of such is life they'd be willing to share? please????? since i'm convinced that i'm never going to get to see joe 90 live again, it would be great to hear it :-P

erin&jill-thanks for the travis recommendation, i had heard "why does it always rain on me?" on the radio and liked it, i picked up the cd yesterday and i love it.

hello to everyone else, i'm glad you've all been enjoying the shows and have a great time in LA!!! if you see epu mike wish him an early happy birthday (it's the 19th). he's gonna be 36 i think. or 39, what's the difference? anyways, have fun :-)

miss you guys! is it almost time to sleep on the trampoline again???

is that what we were doing? sleeping? i'm still having trampoline aftershocks. every now and then the ground just moves in a wave under me. but sure....i'm ready for another trampoline sleepover. i'll bring the corona.

>> he's gonna be 36 i think. or 39, what's the difference? <<

about 3 years. :P maybe he's gonna be both.

i don't think i've heard travis yet. but i haven't listened to the radio much lately either. i did hear the nine days song the other day. there are so many cds i want to get right now. i think i need to get a second job to support my music habit.

wow.... i just got an imed invitation to "one of the hottest sites on the internet." the url alone is enough to make me blush.

have a great weekend everyone

'evening everyone. To all who were concerned, our team placed 7 out of 20 at our meet and 2 of our players (shot put people) are going to state! woohoo =) One doesn't wanna go to state cuz she has tickets to the Q101 Jamboree (big concert w/ lotsa bands) the same day, but oh well.

Anyhoo, I have such is life in mp3 format - I'm usually on Napster, so you can either search for me (Joe90fan) or the mp3. Or, you could add me to your buddy list, since most of you have AOL or AIM (SuperHero90) and when you see me online, beg me to send it to you ;)

Pollstar is such a wonderful thing - it sends me e-mail updates when bands I like have tour dates. I dunno if ya'll knew or not, but Gigolo Aunts are playing with Joe 90 at The Troubadour (I think that's how it's spelled) in West Hollywood on the 16th. I envy all who go and beg them to tape it.

I think that's all for tonight. I need sleep. I think I hyper- extended my knee today, owwy. Buh bye.

-AJ
