Casio 3000 EX - Shutter prior problem

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

I'm using Casio 3000 EX, when I use shutter prior function, it doesn't adjust the aperture into a right level automatically. When I use Aperture prior it also does't adjust shutter speed for me, too. It's normal? The camera will turn into full manual when using these prior function, unlike SLR?

that does not happen to me... in s mode i chosse the time and the camera chooses the aperture note that it it gets red(only with 2 or 8) it the closer available option but not optimal.. same thing happens when in A mode i choose the aperture the camera chooses the time you can control both with a trick in S mode you might already be aware of the set+up that lets you choose time up to bulb amd set+left that lets you choose aperture while in shutter mode this way u'll control both
