How does one properly set up the Rigid Magnifying Hood? The instruction leaflet I have says to "rotate the diopter adjustment ring until the focusing screen enters into sharp focus". Do you do this with a lens attached and focused to infinity, without a lens on, ... ? Secondly, you're supposed to "correct the positioning of the eyecup. The eyecup is fixed in place by three screws". I assume the three screws they're refering to are the ones immediately below the eyecup itself, in the horizontal plane. Even with these screws tightened, the rubber eyecup still slides around although the ring to which the eyecup is mounted on doesn't rotate. The rubber eyecup with my hood is quite old (its lost its flexibility) and I've ordered a replacement. Does a new rubber eyecup grip the mounting ring tightly?
