New to digital and Pro 70 on its way. Now looking at Tiffen add-ons such as 2x teleconverter, and their macro +7, +10. I'd really appreciate any comments or advice on extending this camera's abilities. All things considered, I thought it would make a good first camera and suit a majority of my needs. But a little more zoom/macro would really help. Thanks in advance....Mike Siesel

I'm also looking for teleconverter etc. I talked to Sony support people. They stated that an adapter ring must first be purchased from them "VAD-S70" which then can be used with there wide angle len "VCL-MHG07". They remained silent when I asked if the adapter ring could be used with other lens, such as a teleconveter, etc. They did say the adapter ring was a 52MM threads male one end female the other. Would I be wrong in saying that any lens with a 52MM thread or an additional step down would work a telephoto lens oe converter??? I would be interested in hereing from any one who could foscus some light on this subject. Sorry for the pun.
