(IsraelWire-5/11) Israeli companies connected to the Internet suffered an estimated NIS 50 million in damages from the "Love virus".
According to "Insuretech", a company dealing in risk management and insurance on the Internet, the damage is mainly in the work hours needed to find and clean out the virus, and in work hours lost due to the virus's damage. Also, many work hours will be needed to replace erased files.
According to Ilanit Pesach, director-general of "Insuretech", Israeli companies spent tens of thousands of hours over the weekend recovering from the virus.
