Is this virus still going round? Our e mail has gone really slow (e mails coming days later).

Yup it's still going around and variants of it....e-mail could also well have disappeared for awhile due to mail servers being taken out of circulation when it really hit hard.....

Still it might not be even remotely connected...e-mail has a habit of being shite when you least expect it :))

There are plenty of antidotes around for the virus (last I saw was 29) Here's what Norton Symantec are saying today:

VBS.LoveLetter.A

This writeup last updated on May 9, 2000.

SARC has currently identified 29 versions of this worm. The latest is VBS.LoveLetter.AC. Virus definitions dated May 5, 2000 detect and remove all of these known variants.

Users of Norton AntiVirus can protect themselves from all known versions of the VBS.

Nasty little b@st@rd, eh??

Everybody in the world must know about this now, but there are still quite a few dorks who have to open it.

Aye, surely everybody with a PC has heard of it. Perhaps it's those three little words. They affect lots of folks in different ways! I'm a tad p*ss*d off I never receieved one e-mail saying I love you. Sniff, sniff. Where's me hanky?

Actually, if you look at some of the variants, they announce that you've won a competition, promise eternal wealth and are addressed in various languages. I reckon it was all started by the Reader's Digest.
