Note: This is an informational announcement: not an endorsement by the FIRM Council.

They had some trouble with their internet site at the beginning and if people signed up and did not get confirmation, they need to contact them again.

Attention Archivists, Records Managers and all who need to preserve Digital Data,

Eastman Kodak is proud to present the Mid Atlantic Archive Imaging Symposium on May 16, 2000 in College Park, Maryland and May 18, 2000 in Richmond, Virginia. If you have not signed up already, there is still time. Due to some technical difficulties with our on-line registration, we are extending the registration until Friday, May 12, 2000. If you registered on-line or by E-mail and did not receive confirmation, please contact Shirley Manning at 770-522-2755 or E-mail her at address shirley.manning@kodak.com. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I am providing a copy of the agenda and directions to both of these events. To register on-line, go to www.kodak.com/US/en/business/new/index.shtml and check the events section. You may also respond to the E-mail address mentioned above.

There are two changes to the agenda. Dick Harrington from the Library of Virginia will be speaking on Imaging practices in the Commonwealth instead of Preston Huff. The words "Lunch" have been changed to "Lunch will be served" to avoid confusion.

Sincerly,

David Rawlings, Integrated Imaging Manager, CDIA
