Hey, I doan know if you check here or not. I read Body for Life last week and am fixin to start as soon as I can resign myself to a beerless exsistence, which may take a while.

Are you using the shakes that he sells? If not what are ya eatin for your mid and late meals? Are you really busting ass each AM? Unk has been feeling a bit tired lately, time to do something about it I think.

Oh yeah, did ya sign up for the prize?

Hugs and smootches,

Unc,

Just think Unc, when you start you do get one day out of seven to eat (drink) whatever you want. So, on that day, you can have a few brews.

I am using the shakes, and have them for the mid-morning meal. They really aren't that bad. If you get them, try them with milk or water. I think milk is the best (non-fat of course). Chocolate is good, have heard the strawberry is delicious, and that the vanilla tastes like cake batter. Mid afternoon, I usually eat 1/2 can of chicken (from my preps of course) and a piece of bread. After dinner I have some yogurt and cottage cheese mixed for the last meal. Don't gag, as it really is wonderful. I do use the fruit yogurts.

I do get up at 5 a.m. now and do my workout. The first day for upper body was a killer and my arms were very sore for a couple of days and I'm not using *that* much weight. The first day for the legs, I made the mistake of working my hamstrings twice. Can you say that I could hardly get out of a chair or walk up stairs. Where I work, I have many stairs to climb and thought I would die. By the time you get to the second round, it doesn't hurt.

We didn't sign up for the prize, as the changes really won't be as drastic as most that you have seen in the book. I did however take "before" pictures. It does serve for inspiration. (Hint: Use a instant camera)

All I can say is that in little over a week, I can really feel the difference deep down in my body. Not sure if I can actually see it yet, but I can feel it becoming firmer. Oh, don't be surprised that when you eat the six meals a day that you gain a couple of pounds, as it takes your body a little while to start burning off more. I gained a couple the first couple of days, but now have found that I have lost 5.

If you do it, best of luck. You'll find that more than just your body changes, as your mind will as well. You have to have the determination to do it, and you'll feel so much better.
