Answers

1) Push the + and - buttons together (they're marked "sync"), then a >>> will show on the LCD.

2) No. Isn't that bummer?

3) No. Not unless you are using manual flash control. The pocket bouncer, like most other reflectors, will eat about 2 stops, so keep to less than half of the flashes rated maximum distance.

For what it's worth, the 420EZ and 540EZ don't have an exposure confirm light either.

The 540EZ does, in fact, have a green "exposure OK" light. The 430EZ doesn't.

Oops. Yes the 540EZ does.
