who are you attracted to that you can't have?

why is it that sometimes the people that you are attracted to do not always feel the same way about you? Who is that person? (note: it can not be a celebrity because that question has already been asked... mainly this refers to people that you know or that you encounter during your everyday life.)

Because they are retarded. Or too old. Or not interested in dating because they "don't want to be holding the hand of the wrong girl when they see the right girl." (someone actually said that to me). Because they are too blind to see how great you actually are, or that greatness is just not what they are looking for. :(

As for who those people are, I'm not going there. Not in public, anyway. My friends know who they are though.

ahhh ... i'm attracted to one person in particular who i could never have ... she's my best friend, and perfectly straight.... she's a typically beautiful italian, and wonderfully nice ... so incredibly funny it makes me cry, a person perpetually entertaining and easy to talk to, and a great musician (plays cello and violin). i've told her i'm bi, but i believe she thought i was joking.... i've also told her i wanted her to ... well, that's a little personal, i suppose. then i believe she assumed i was drunk....

my friend matt. i hate him in some ways, but want him so bad. check out my journal at gurliestyle.dairyland.com and the first entry tells a bit more about my fascination with him. (not for the sexually timid) you'll need a password...email me with something creative and i will send it to you.
