TV quiz shows

greenspun.com : LUSENET : I Wasn't Built to Get Up at this Time : One Thread

Have you ever been on a TV quiz show? My Dad was the reserve for his college's University Challenge team, and he was on it once. The team went on to get to the finals - though no thanks to him, who only answered one question, and got it wrong! Nik's Mum was also some Bruice Forseith (sp?) thing, but lost. Do I see a pattern here?

I was selected for ITV's Blockbusters. Unfortunately i was selected the year it was dropped :(

Salford uni were banned from uni challenge when i was there - so no joy there - however last series i did spot someone from my school on it.

I would love to be on Who wants..

i've considered applying for 15 to 1 - but after seeing the xmas grand final, i don't think i stand any chance!

A senior that graduated two years ago from my school was on The Price is Right once, according to one of my friends. (Is that a quiz show though? I've never watched it.)

I wish...

(and Ducky, yes, it is a quiz show).

I don't know... Can you really call Price Is Right a quiz show? More of a game show, really, isn't it?

I always wanted to be on Jeopardy (an American quiz show). They do have International tournaments so I could technically be on it as a Canadian (or British citizen in a little while, I assume), but it is a bit unfair for those who speak English as their first language to go against people who don't know a whole lot of the language. Anyvague, I'm rambling.
