Derby eyewitness reports?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Anyone? Talk to those of us who weren't there and couldn't see the beamback and won't even see the .000003 seconds worth of highlights for another 18 hours. Were we really dreadful? What happened to Pistone? Enquiring minds want to know. :-)

Yeah, anyone want fame and no fortune? I'd really appreciate a match report aso that I can steal it and put on the Gallowgate. Of course I will also put your name in in very very small writing

what happened there

That last part was supposed to say in very small writing

duh, It's not working
does this work
If not I'm off to bed!

That's better.

Anyway going back to the point are there any eyewitness reports around Jay etc????

Ciara, you were lucky to get 000003 seconds of highlights. I didn't see any in 90 minutes. The pies were good though, best in the Premiership.

Report:

At three o'clock the two teams came out, ran around for 45 minutes, kicked Kinkladze a few time, went in for fifteen minutes, came out again, ran round for another 45 minutes, then went off, got changed and went home.

Pretty close to the full action methinks.

Oh howay ITK. From what I heard, it wasn't as exciting as that!

How could you leave out the bit when they held up the board with '3' written on it in lights? I uncrossed my legs and leaned forwards when that happened. You can't put a price on that kind of experience!

IKT,

That's a damned site more than you could glean from MOTD's now standard 50 nanosecond Toon coverage, Ken.
OK, so it was cr@p game - so why do they even bother? The faint chance of anything other than our usual derisory coverage only prevents you from going to bed at a reasonable time.

Yes it was as bad as that. Just as well there were a bunch of Toon supportes behind us to liven things up.

-- Anonymous, May 07, 2000

Ooh er missus. I'm not sure we want to know what the Toon supporters "behind you" were doing to liven you up. Perhaps you'll tell us on Sunday.

Don't ask Screacher.....just look at the perpetual smile on her face! ;0)

-- Anonymous, May 08, 2000

Ha ha! I wonder if the smile will still be there on Sunday when another "milestone" is reached?

-- Anonymous, May 08, 2000

I will only be smilling on Sunday if the following criteria is met.

a) We play well and actually win (Al scoring all three)

b) I get very drunk and forget how old I am.

The latter is a strong possibility as I am coming to the Toon by train ;o)

We were shit. Shearer said that the pitch deserved better. I'm sorry but we looked as bad as we have all season. A major injection of cash and a summer holiday is in order, I think. On that form don't expect us to even give Arsenal a game. WOOOOOEEEEEEFFFFUUUULLLLLLL.

Oi Dougal......stop sitting on the fence and tell it how it is girl!

-- Anonymous, May 08, 2000

Hey Jay

.......but what if..........

a) We play badly (again) lose....(with Al not scoring)

b) You get very, very drunk drunk, forget how old you are but then get goosed on the train on the way home!.

Would that make up for the rest?.....we need to know. ;0)

ITK

I can get as drunk as I like. The train terminates in Hull, so its not like I can miss me stop.

Ahhh the joys of forward planning :o)

We will not loose! And Al will score three, (but not all for us!) It is my B Day request
