problems getting my pc to talk to my olympus C830L

The best way to proceed is to print it out and go through it step by step. If it still doesn't work, you may need to uninstall and then reinstall your camera software. Be certain that you didn't disable the port in your computer's bios when you enabled the PS2 mouse.
