Answers

[_Primary Colors_] was a great piece of reporting. I recall picking it up in the bookstore the day it came out, quite by happenstance, before any reviews appeared, and reading the first 40 pages or so. Only one other book came as close to capturing the reality of my experience in campaigning: Hunter Thompson's _Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail_.
