Ok, i am feeling so much better now...I cant believe how tired i was...and then i ended up staying up until after four....but i am rested now!! I had such a good time at the show and i am so glad that I got to meet up with Kristin, Jill and Barb...You guys were great!! We will have to meet up again!! I am so glad that i recorded the show..it turned out SO good!! I am listening to it now. I should write down the setlist....They did Such is Life...what a great song!! I took lots of pictures..they are pretty cool too! Its hard to get great pics at the show...but i do like some of them. I thought it was cool that we stayed at the same hotel as the guys... they were telling us how their van had broken down the night before. It was funny when Gary was telling the story..he said that it would make a noise when he let off of the gas...so he turned the radio up...and tried not to let up off of the gas..i laughed at that! I still didnt have a ticket when we went to the show..i was terrified that i wouldnt be able to get in! It wasnt a problem though. We got to the club about 7:30 and were able to watch some of the sound check. Adam came over...he dyed his hair dark brown...I liked it. He said something about his mom not recognizing him. We had to go back outside and i paid for my ticket..and thats when Gary told me that i he put me on the list..he told the guy to give me my money back...how cool is that? I didnt mind paying at all...The entire drive up there i was scared that i wouldnt be able to go in at all...and i would have to listen from the parking lot. I dont think that would be as much fun! But i would do it! The show was SO great!! Did i already say that? I wish it could have gone on longer...but thats always the case! Chris sang Happy Birthday to Craig...he sang, "Happy Birthday one who's wearing the SWAT shirt." He showed us his very crooked finger.. And i liked disco Lift me Up. After their set i remember talking to Craig...i was telling him that we had gifts for him..he tried to convince me that i should give him Kellys MD recorder! Maybe thats not such a bad idea since we are already planning on letting it be the official Joe 90 bootlegging instrument..i will be sending it off to jessica for her to record the show in Ohio. I might as well just have given it to him to record all of the shows!! :O) But it really wasnt mine to give! I had never seen Cracker before. I thought i had never heard them either..but i did know several songs. They were really good. I ended up heading to the back of the club because it was hot and smokey. Cracker played forever...i didnt think the show was going to end. They were taking requests...and they kept taking them, and taking them...you get the point? i dont even know what time it was when it did finally end. It was a good show though..and now i want to check out some Cd's (thanks Jill for your Cracker CD suggestions!) The show was a blast!! We went back to the hotel. We ended up watching Maury..that was fun. I remember that i kept looking out the window to see if the guys were back (NOT STALKING!!..we had gifts for Craig!) One time i was standing near the window and happened to glance out and i saw them waving at us...that was cool! What time did we end up going to bed? I know it was late...I went back to my room and started listening to the show..i remember falling asleep and waking up when we all yelled YEAH!! It freaked me out! We got up about 9 or so...ended up making several trips to McDonalds... I forgot to mention that i bought this cute little cake for Craig. I was going to put it in a cooler..but it didnt fit...so i left it out. It ended up melting all over the place on the drive up there. It was looking pretty bad...that is until Barb went to work on it..She did such a good job..and all she had to work with was one of those stir sticks from McDonalds....BRAVO!! She then decorated it with Teddy Grahams. You have to see the pictures to really see what a great job she did!! I didnt actually expect him to eat the cake now..but i wanted to show it to him..its the thought that counts! I dont know what he thought of it though... We saw the guys again as we were packing the cars.. Craig opened his presents...some GREAT cookies, CDs from kelly, A GREAT purple Boa (SP?) from Chrisnot...i got a great picture of that!! :) Kristin brought these water balloon things...you know the ones that hardly stay in your hands...it was very cool. She gave one to all of the guys...Gary dropped his and got a leak...he ended up slamming it to the ground. So i have all these pics of the guys playing with these things. I like those alot! I guess thats it.. i know i am leaving things out...I will think of them and then add them on later... Thanks to Kristin, Jill, Barb, And Chris, Gary, Craig and Adam...i had such a good time! erica

erica's little "i woke up in a panic when we did the "YEAH!" reminded me of something, lol

when we did the yell in ferris wheel, the girl next to barb looked at us and just gave us the biggest smile. i thought that was cool :)

>>We ended up watching Maury..that was fun. <<

oh god. i forgot about watching maury... bunch of little girls dressing up like whores and their mother's sitting there crying. and we're all like "hello! why are you LETTING them dress that way? they're only 8. and where are they getting the clothes and makeup anyway?"

oh and we listened to hanginaround on the drive over to ziggys. and we all had to clap. but jill didn't think i should be swinging my arms while i was driving. you're not the boss of me jill!!! lol.

'k. i'll stop posting now.

maybe.

stop posting reviews! i am getting too excited for the show next tuesday now. :) britt and i have been working SO hard on it, we haven't really been able to see it as a SHOW that will be enjoyable... it's all work and no play right now. i have been faxing and calling people like crazy for the past few days. one of the local radio stations (that has played joe 90 a few times) is going to mention it on the air whenever they play them. yay :) now i just have to call and request them. actually, everyone call! the number is 614-221-1011.

umm... what else. the newspaper is supposed to put info about the show in the arts section ("today on the town") the day of the show. we are trying to get sponsors. we're trying to get one of the local tv stations to put it on their community events calendar.

i can't believe adam dyed his hair! i want to see it. :) the show is in five days. woo hoo.

i'm going to go request joe 90 now... oh! wait, one more thing. the most popular station in central ohio (mainly top 40 stuff... they played counting crows when "hanginaround" was fairly popular) put the info about the show on their community events page on their website... i hope people actually check that thing.

i wish britt would get home now so she can tell me how the sponsor sales went today...

Thanks for the great reviews everyone! I wish I could go to the Columbus show, but it just wouldn't work, so maybe I'll have to force the guys to come here in the summer ;)

I like the new collage.. it's purdy! I reminded myself repeatedly to at least post a happy b-day, but I got home late last night because I went to the Cub's game (they won! yipee!) so I forgot...

I found my orange sunglasses!!! (I like a yellow shirt and I like orange shades...) I left them in the school van...

I haven't posted in a while....

Oh yeah! Now I remember the point of this post... I want to know if anyone out there would like to 2:1 trade for Gone or any of the other songs that are new.. I have no copy and I want one.

I believe that is all. Thanks for listening to my rambles...

by the way...i TOTALLY SAW THAT MAURY!!!! LOL

i read the post at first, and thought you guys were talking about something else...and then i read it again, and remembered the episode!

too funny. when my 10 year old starts dressing like a 2 cent hooch, i'm calling maury so he can take her to the streets and show her what it's all about!

erica, your uncle was on maury?! how come?

i want to hear this story!

was he one of those guys that dresses like a girl and the audience tries to guess whether it's a he or a she? those are a riot!

erica, i keep forgetting to tell you this story. when i was waiting for you (and jill and barb) to show up in NC i called the front desk of the motel to see if you had checked in yet. the woman there was not exactly the brightest bulb. i had to repeat your name about 15 times for her, enunciating for all i was worth. she still didn't get it.

finally, she goes "ohhhhh" and i think we've made a breakthrough. but then she says "they're checking in right now!" and i'm saying "no. no they. just she." she asks if i want to speak to them. i'm still trying to tell her there is no they. next thing i know some guy with a british accent is on the phone sounding very confused. i told him i didn't want him. just erica. he gives the phone back to the woman. she still doesn't get it. i give up.

wasn't that a fun story?

Ok, first of all....kristen..what was that lady on? She was crazy! You should have heard her trying to give me directions to ZIGGY's. It was like..go down this street...no, this street..then turn..no go straight...then turn...then turn around...put your left foot in...put your left out...shake it all around...you get the point? She was HIGH! My uncle was on maury a few years ago...he was a deadbeat husband. His wife was working 4 jobs and he didnt work at all. Her parents were on there to force her to divorce him...Maury ended up getting him a job at a casino. i dont think he ever showed up for the interview. He is now a deadbeat husband to someone else...it was a weird moment when i turned the tv on and saw him.
