Toon in 4-4-2

Firstly, in an article, Top 10 Young Goalkeepers in Britain, Steve Harper comes 3rd and Shay Given comes 4th. Steve gets his plaudits from having kept 3 clean sheets, saved 43 shots and conceded 43 goals. Oh and from being a qualified referee, too. Shay gets his plaudits from having "quick feet, safe hands" and because he "anticipates excellently and has earned a reputaion as a shot-stopper". They repeat the joke - Shay Given is the only Irish man who doesn't know where Dublin is". Secondly, Aaron Hughes is featured in "The Boy's a bit special". They say he is a rarity, coming through our youth system and fighting off the challenge of so many foreigners. This isn't to be compared with the other interview with him where he says he likes Travis better than Oasis, likes the look of twisted jeans, loves brown sauce and ham sandwiches and is very good at house work. Wouldn't recommend buying this issue as it has a picture of Kevin Phillips on the front. They also take up Shearer's suggestion that Wembley be knocked down without further ado.

Ok, he's not in Britain but after just watching Real Madrid again, it's too bad we can't get our hands on Casillas. Can't believe he's only 18! You don't think Real would do a trade...Casillas for Given, Karelse AND Perez? 3 for 1!

Didn't think so. ;-)

That young keeper is fantastic. Did you watch him again last night? I`d take MacMananmanmanman too, and Raul! In fact, on closer inspection, I think Raul would fit nicely into my dream team! (:o)
