life and dreams

greenspun.com : LUSENET : wellyeah : One Thread

by my entry for today, I realise that my life effects my dreams or vice versa.

I'd like to know if your dreams are at all parallel to your life [repressed emotions?] or are your dreams more of an escape?

Usually my dreams don't make any sense. Ever have one of those dreams where you wake up twice? as in you wake up from a dream, only still asleep and in another dream? I have those. Last night I drempt that my computer mouse was a vacume cleaner and I was cleaning my house with it, then I woke up from the first part of the dream, went down stairs and told my brother, then i took his car and drove off with it, and woke up again. I'm not sure how to inturpit dreams like that... since they really had nothing to do with anything, but people say our dreams have some kinda inner meaning, so, there must be something to it...

ah...yeah. I don't think I've ever had the wake up inside a dream dream...I sorta wish I did though since it seems soo cool to think you woke up but still be inside the dream soo anything could happen.

hmm....I mostly have dreams that have to do with past friends as is the trend, so that's why I feel I'm repressing emotions here since I never tried to reconcile friendships with any of them...I'll prolly continue to have them enter my dreams trying to save me..yeah, mostly they are there trying to save me or rescue me from something.

I also had quite a few dreams where I'm about to die or did die. I heard myths that if you're killed in a dream you won't wake up..it isn't true. I got shot in the head in a dream and everything went black, but I did wake up later. I did have close misses too, such as a big semi coming at me and I can't move my legs and then just as I'm about to get hit, I wake up..those dreams are freaky.

just a few words from yours truly...aah. I need to shutup.
