Who Wants to Find Tim's Maths Text Book?

The thing has been missing for months - it could be at home or (and here's the exciting part) at school! And how exactly do you think "Waugh" should be pronounced? To rhyme with "laugh"? Not only do I know a girl called Gemma Waugh (actually, I was dreaming about her last night for no particular reason), who calls herself "Woff", but . . . I have met David Waugh, author of the textbook, himself!!!!!

He teaches at a school in Carlisle, and came to mine to give a talk at a careers fair about the perils of becoming a text-book-writing Geography teacher. And everyone called him "Woff" to his face. Well, "David Woff" or "Mr Woff", usually, but never the less, to rhyme with scoff and quaff.

The Maths book, though? I think my "friend" / husband Roe, in his desperation to solve second order differential equations, has stolen it.

Well, I'd pronounce Waugh as 'Waw' (which is just like 'War') but I bow to the superior knowledge of one who has met the man, ie. my precious wife Zed.

Why can I never fill out your discussion board properly? Half of the time I put my name first, and the other half of the time I start writing my old e-mail address.

Anyvague, to add some variety to the board, I'm going to suggest a place at school. A lot of people seem to leave Math books in the computer lab. Do you ever go in there, or do you just wait until you get home? Um... Do you have spots in the hallways where you can put books? What about in your friend's locker?

I'm sorry, these aren't very interesting suggestions. But it's all I've got. I'm ded tired.
