Seasons been over for a little while... :((Next seasons already over as far as I'm concerned! :(
There's something about us that just wants to sit and try and very very shakily defend a lead...we can't do it, we know we can't do it (that's what makes us nervous!)...so why do they bother trying!!
We can play some excellent stuff when going forward...we've proved this season that we can beat anyone when we're playing for it but too often we hide behind a 1 goal cushion...

I haven't seen this goal so I can't comment on it but I've felt for some time that Given isn't a good keeper and that Harper should be first choice....it sounds to me like other people are starting to agree...Anyone out there still think Given is first choice and why?

Apparently Stevie Harper has damaged his knee so Bobby doesn't want to risk him making it worse by playing him. He's gonna have an op on it at the end of the season. I agree, I'd MUCH rather see him in goal than Shay.

I think Harper is a better keeper. Or at least his confidence is a lot better. I was musin tat YBR might be giving Shay a run out in th efirst team now that there is little else to play for. He lost out earlier in the season to Steve and perhaps this is his reward for staying loyal and not throwing his toys around.Or maybe he's giving him a chance to put himself in the shop window? I dunno. But I can't think of a valid football reason why Given is ahead of Harper on the teamsheet.
