For digital camera owners.

Could digital camera take Infrared pictures?

What type of filters should we use. And could this shorten the life of the camera?

Thanks

A.L.

it all depends on your camera's sensitivity to IR. you basically use a very dark filter like a wratten 87c and the result is usually mono- chromatic. i am using gels right now and if you filter out enough blue and red you can produce some really nice color IR shots...

if you use the search function i believe you can find more posts about IR with digital cameras... here's one that i found in the search keatlim@my-deja.com), May 02, 2000.
