Title: NEPA Explains Power Outages

THE National Electronic Power Authority, Festac Town District, has appealed to its customers in Wharf Road, Apapa, and environs especially Nigerian Ports Authority, that the power outage in their area was caused by a blast on NEPA 33KV sub-station located at Floor Mills, Apapa, which occurred on Thursday, April 27, 2000.

According to a statement from NEPA office signed by Maxwell Ojiakor, public relations officer, its engineers and technicians were working relentlessly to rectify the fault and normal power supply restored to the affected communities.
