greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

does any one find annoying that the casio qv-3000ex only has resolutions of 2048x1536 and 1024x768, what if i need smaller res pics like 640x480?

you just have to resize them using any of many softwares out there.. i always keep it full resolution fine. 244 shots are enough for me :P

i know you can store 255 pics at high res, but i'm not buying the qv- 3000ex with the microdrive, ill be using compact flash

If I didn't have the microdrive, it would probably annoy me as well. At this point, being able to get about 1000 photos at 1024x768 on the microdrive, it doesn't bother me at all. I'd highly recommend the microdrive for anyone who's camera accepts it.

I prefer being able to resize photos myself over snapping a tiny 640x480 photo only to wish later I had taken it at a larger size. What happens when you get a great shot worthy of 4x6 or 8x10 prints? Interpolation stinks.

Best regards...
