Noah Wyle's Wedding

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

So has anyone taken time to go thru the Star and see the pics of Noah's wedding - I just saw the cover and did not have time to pick it up and look thru it - the line was too short in the express lane...

I forgot to ask, is George Clooney gonna be his best man??????????

-- abigail (abbyqueen@aol.com), May 01, 2000.

Oh, that would just be too cute, wouldn't it?

-- Cecelia (evilstoat@hotmail.com), May 01, 2000.

Rachel, do you remember where you heard that he is getting married in five days? Maybe what I read about them not having a date yet was old. MAN! I was really hoping to hook up with him and live on his goat ranch! J/K...a little.

-- Elaine (mrsclooney78@hotmail.com), May 01, 2000.

Elaine, youll have to get in line! Hee Hee.

I am way too old to be thinking that. And my spouse probably wouldn't appreciate it either.

I actualy thought they hadn't even set a date. Glad to see he's not stringing the girl along!

I bought and read the Star with Noah's 'wedding' picture on it :) Sad sad sad, yes, I know. It was a computer generated photo, it did say the wedding was to take place May 6th, and it said that Noah's brother was best man, but that George Clooney was to serve as a groom's man. It is a tabloid keep in mind. :) Geez that Tracey girl is lucky!

Yes, this Tracy *is* a very lucky girl...NW seems like he would be the ideal boyfriend/husband. I think it's great GC is his best man (if that's true...it is a tabloid).

I also saw the article on Kellie Martin's wedding last summer in this month's In Style magazine. Her husband is pretty cute and she looked very lovely. They said that when he proposed they ran around NY telling anyone they saw. They didn't mention of any of the ER cast at the wedding, but I hope some of them were there; the article wasn't that big. So will Noah Wyle and Kellie Martin be the only main ER cast member/recent ex-cast member that are married? Hmmm.

I thought Anthony Edwards was married???

-- Anne (annebercher@gmx.de), May 03, 2000.

Anthony Edwards is married but hasn't been for long. He and his wife have been a couple for years though. Alex Kingston is divorced from Ralph Fiennes.

-- Diana (dilynne@juno.com), May 03, 2000.

I did some 'research' (haha) on the net and found out that Kingston just married again, and that both Goran Visnjic and Paul Mc Crane are married as well. Just for those of you who're interested. It also said that Laura Innes 'lives with her family in L.A.' (NBC) Now does that mean she's married or what? Just wondered, because everywhere else it was stated whom they married. Well at least GC hasn't married yet!!!! There's still a chance... JK

-- Anne (annebercher@gmx.de), May 03, 2000.

laura innes IS married..her husband plays the anesthisologist, Dr. Babcock, I think.

-- catherine (catsclaw_007@yahoo.com), May 03, 2000.

Anthony Edwards has been married to Jeanine Lobell since 1995 -- they have two children.

Julianna Margulies is not married, but has been with Ron Eldard (paramedic Raymond "Shep" Shepard on "ER") since 1991.

Sherry Stringfield has been married to Larry Jospeph since 1998.

George Clooney, as we all know, was married once, briefly, and has yet to settle down. If he ever needs any volunteers...;-)

I wanted to marry Noah Wyle! He is only like 13 years oder than me!

-- Kami (Mindelzkix@aol.com), May 05, 2000.

I read somewhere a while back that Laura Innes had an emergency appendectomy (and her appendix did burst) shortly after meeting the man who would become her husband. He helped her recoup and they fell in love...they should bring a story like that onto ER. If I remember correctly that was a dozen or more years ago and they're still together and have a child.

-- Diana (dilynne@juno.com), May 05, 2000.

I have to totally agree with Kami, good thing he's getting married or we would have had to fight over him!!!

-- Gina G. (thatsagirl@aol.com), May 06, 2000.

Da-dum-de-dum... do I hear wedding bells? I just attended a wedding (no, not Noah's) but for some today is like a funeral. Don't worry peoples, these actors/actresses never stay married for long anyway. So Kari, don't give up hope

-- Gina G. (thatsagirl@aol.com), May 06, 2000.

Actually i just read that they were married in a ranch he bought for 2.5 million and that it was to be held at sunset with mountains as a backdrop. Tres Romantique, non? And, wow, doesn't tacy Warbin have a resemblence to Jennifer Lopez? I think she does!

-- Aoife (bubbles_n_fun@hotmail.com), May 07, 2000.

I think I read somewhere that Noah Wyle bought Bo Derek's ranch after John died. I also remember reading that he got engaged on Valentine's Day of 1999, so they've had a nice respectable length engagement and have known one another for awhile, since "The Myth of Fingerprints." Sounds like they've done everything right and hopefully they'll have a non-Hollywood type of marriage that lasts for years and years. I just read that Billy Bob Thornton and Angelia Jolie got married this weekend as well--in Vegas. Now THAT might be a Hollywood-style marraige (it was his 5th and her 2nd BTW)!

-- Diana (dilynne@juno.com), May 07, 2000.

I couldn't have said it better, Diana! All those Hollywood weddings are starting to phsyc me out. By the way everyone, is this N. Wyle's first wedding? And to say the bride looks like Jennifer Lopez is an insult (to the bride). Personally, I hope she doesn't ACT like Jennifer Lopez. Best wishes, Wyle, hope this lasts. Another thing-- anybody know how long Wyle and bride have known each other? Not their engagement (that sounded good) but just how long they've known each other, romantically or other wise. Thanks people.

-- Gina G. (thatsagirl@aol.com), May 07, 2000.

This is Noah Wyle's first marriage, and he knew his wife, as the papers have said, since he was doing Myth of Finger prints, which was about two years ago. I personally think that that's a nice amount of time to get to know your fiance, both as a friend and a prospective wife. Wyle said that she's the best thing he has in his life, so I think they'll do well together. Also, she's not an actress, but a make-up artist, so I don't think they have one of those high profile marriages that causes marriages to break up. Just saying. I hope they're happy. :)
