"People" Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

Both George Clooney and Goran Visnjic have made the list. :-) I've only seen Clooney's picture so far, and he looks mighty fine!! Julianna Margulies also says some really great things about him, looks and personality-wise. :-)

man oh man....but i though alex k. should have been in that top 50!

-- rachel (thehilfigergirl@aol.com), April 29, 2000.

Yeah, I think Julianna Margulies should've been included, too.

-- Arianne (CarolRossSusanGreene@yahoo.com), April 29, 2000.

Julianna was on the list a few years back. Last year's list included Michael Michele.

I'm glad George made the list, but I feel Noah should have been on the list.

-- Brenda (jckwfan@aol.com), April 29, 2000.

Lord, please help me find that picture of Goran! I could have some sweet dreams falling alseep looking at those eyes!!! George who?????

-- Linda (l.brown@mindspring.com), April 30, 2000.

All I have to say is where is Noah! He is definately the sexiest guy on the show! No contest there on that one! Go Wyle!

-- Jen (sjcpuma@yahoo.com), April 30, 2000.

Goran is one good looking man. No doubt about that! Now if only Noah was there too...

-- Joanne (bucklind@hotmail.com), April 30, 2000.

If you go to www.people.com they have some of them posted. George & Goran are there.

Does anyone know if Noah has ever been included?

-- Yvette (Frazzzld@aol.com), April 30, 2000.

I'd feel pretty lucky right now if I was Julianna

-- Cai (mohawk@xmission.com), April 30, 2000.

Linda, I'm with you! George who? Goran is where it's at! But I must admit I am partial to Noah Wyle, too.

-- Annie (GoldenLaur@aol.com), April 30, 2000.

While I'm partial to George (and agree with what JM said about his eyes ;-), I'd have to say Noah Wyle deserves to be included!!

-- Arianne (CarolRossSusanGreene@yahoo.com), April 30, 2000.

I am very partial to Noah Wyle! And Julianna M. and Kellie Martin! I think they should all have been included in the list. I mean, talk about natural beauty. JM has it all. Hair, eyes, mouth. Kellie Martin has it all too. Eyes, everything! And Noah, I don't even know how to describe him!! :)

-- Stephanie (Looney425@aol.com), April 30, 2000.

Exactly Linda! Everyone on the show (Past as well I suppose) is so pretty People should make a special group photo of them. I'd buy it.

I usually hate these things because I think it's kind of crappy for a magazine to single out "beautiful" people, but in a way I am a total hypocrit because I "really" wish Noah Wyle were on that. Obviously they are looking at the ER cast when they do this. Though maybe because he is always referred to as "boyish" (which I love!), they just ignore him. This year esp., he has been simply wonderful to look at. I also agree w/ their past decisions (Clooney, Margulies, Visnjic, Michele), and I think they should include Alex Kingston, Kellie Martin (I think she looks very "natural"), and Anthony Edwards (he *can* be handsome...I thought he looked adorable walking into Carol's room in Great Expectations). So there. I *am* a hypocrit!

Join the club Elaine :). I think we all are resonable people but become hopeless cases when it comes to ER and the overabundance of cuteness therein.

I know this was pointed out in another thread about Cleo, but I think this is a good place to repeat it. The women of ER are indeed beautiful and I can't think of a one that looks anorexic. In fact, they had the epi where Lucy was learning kickboxing or tae bo or something and Chuny was interested too, but it was a desire for healthy exercise that prompted it more than extreme weight loss. This, IMHO, is something to applaud. I'd never noticed it before the thread about Cleo and the waffles so something good did come from that scene. :) The guys are all gorgeous too, but what I've said above isn't generally a male thing, maybe some in Hollywood though.

I checked out the People website and saw the pictures of George and Goran and all I can say is "oh my...Goran, Goran, Goran!" I think he is looking pretty good! Did anyone see him in Practical Magic or Welcome to Sarajevo? I think I need to run out and rent those movies today! George looked good too and I liked what he said about "bring on the gray, I can handle it" I think he will look awesome with gray hair. Sort of like Richard Gere does!

-- amanda (amanda.rehm@home.com), May 01, 2000.

I think it's a real shame that a woman with grey hair is seldom seen as beautiful in the way that a man is. Yes, GC is a good looking man, but how many salt & pepper-haired women can you think of who would qualify for this list?

Now that that's out of the way--Please, somebody put Noah in there! God, he's adorable. And Anthony Edwards, too--My husband looks a lot like him and I think he's very sexy.

-- Cecelia (evilstoat@hotmail.com), May 01, 2000.

Cecelia, I know what you mean...unfortunately, women are generally not considered as attractive as men when they have gray hair. Although, I know several silver-haired ladies that are beautiful (Emmylou Harris did make the list last year I think). Look at John McCain's wife too, I think she is quite beautiful.

-- amanda (amanda.rehm@home.com), May 01, 2000.

Wyle, Visnjic, DEFINITELY belong on the list. Kellie Martin has such a natural look. Julianna Margulies is one of the few brunettes who doesn't look dead with pale skin, au contraire, she looks gorgeous. Alex Kingston and Michael Michele also belong in the issue. Also, there is this picture of Laura Innes on a fan site where she looks fantastic.

I totally agree with EVERYONE that thinks Noah should be on that list... I'm glad there's some sane people out there he is SO CUTE!!!
