Some posts are being used to spam people. How the fuck is this happening? Especially since these posts are selling fucking bootlegs and shitty hardware. Could someone please flush these posts and ban the assholes behind it.

Hehehe....powerful words...I strongly agree with you on the spamming. However, some postings are useful, but i think the post should allow the users a choice of whether or not to go there. Furthermore, if they must advertise, they should let the users know clearly that the posting is an advertisement (some of them is kind enough to do it here). As for bootlegs or shitty hardwares, how do you know that? Have you deal with these guys before? If you have, by all means do tell...it is good for the rest of the community here to know.

When you click on the post, it takes you to the page. They advertise Windows 2000 on silver CDs not CD-R for $14.99. Then they try to sell screener and telecine made VCDs. That would be bootleg. As for the hardware, would you buy a Panasonic VCD player for $100.00 from a store that sells bootlegs? I wouldn't.

i do agree that if your posting a link, then give the choice to go there or not. However i dont give a damn about bootlegs. Some are pretty good and the kind in refering to are ones that are different/rare or workprint versions of the films. Stuff not otherwise nor never available, such as the american pie, the early vcd of this was a workprint which still differs from both versions out now. But in general this is pretty much a "how to" forum so they really should not be posted here
