Title: Factory Reduced to Ashes LAHORE (April 29) : A fire broke out in Dura Foam factory at Ferozpur road on Friday, 18-km from here and caused damage worth millions of rupees.

According to reports, the power supply went off following a heavy explosion during the morning shift when the workers were busy in the routine production work.

Soon after the electricity went off workers witnessed heavy smoke coming out from godowns of the factory which later turned into heavy fire. Workers rescued their life by running out of the factory.

The fire quickly engulfed all parts of the factory including three godowns and the entire production of the foam and raw material for producing foam were reduced to ashes. Due to high intensity of the fire and heat the roofs and walls of three godowns caved in.--APP
